No one gets hurt using this weapon. An oil drum is painted and retrofitted with a rubber membrane at one end and a hole at the other. The cannon is aimed at a curtain made of CD’s. The CD’s are attached with a metal bar at the top & bottom and to each other with a brass tube, washer and thin cable so that each CD spins when the air cannon hits the targeted area. When a visitor hits the rubber membrane, air is pushed through the narrowed aperture and creates a burst of air that can be seen when it reaches the curtain. The cannon can swivel to be aimed at different areas of the curtain.
